Spring has begun and we are looking forward to the sun. It is light our longer in the evenings and we no longer have to walk home in the dark. In the mornings, it’s easier to get out of bed when the blue sky is visible behind the trees. Our thick coats are stored in the closet again and we are in the mood for color, exercise and everything fun in the outdoors. The QF Quartier at the Frauenkirche welcomes spring with many improvements and transformations of the stores and with the current spring/summer collection 2011. The exclusive Marina Rinaldi brand is moving into the QF in Dresden. Escada is renovating and doubling its size. Dagmar Schreiber is moving to the ground floor with an additional shoe and accessories store at the entrance directly across from the Frauenkirche. S.Baumeister was replaced by Cerês, a new shoe store with fantastic brands. Delicious and fresh goods for your taste buds are offered all day long by the Culina Restaurant, which has been in the QF since April. Discover and experience the new, get out into the fresh air and come to the QF Quartier at the Frauenkirche. The restaurants are opening their patios again. Still wrapped in blankets and huddled near the patio heaters, you can enjoy your coffee, eat your first ice cream or simply hang out while watching the New Market’s vibrancy.
