We’ve been waiting a long time for it – blue sky, sunshine, hot days where only a cold bath is refreshing and those mild summer evenings on which we can sit outside in our shorts or summer dresses, eating lights meals, drinking fruity drinks and having interesting conversations with our friends or family until the early hours of morning. Now summer time is here. We can finally clear our closets of our spring wardrobe. We are in the mood to dress for the sunny days, to brush off the dust of the past weeks and let color into our lives. Curious about the new, we wander into the stores to let summer greet us, only to realize that we’ve come too late. The world of fashion changes faster than the weather, and unfortunately, faster than we do. Winter clothes have already moved into the fashion stores. I’m sure you know what I mean. With an extra large ice cream and small beads of sweat on our skin we stand in front of raincoats, winter coats and boots and can’t imagine ever buying something like that.
